Quorum for Elections Unfulfilled

His Excellency the Adviser, Ahmed Ibrahim Al Zaabi, a judge seconded from the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department and Head of the ESC (Elections-Supervising Committee), announced that due to an unfulfilled quorum required for the validity of convening the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) Board Members’ 2009/2010 Election general meeting held at the Abu Dhabi premises, as well as in both Al Ain and the Western Region, on 7th December 2009; and pursuant to the provision of Article 9 of the Chamber Law No. 27 of 2005, it has been decided for a second meeting to be convened at the three voting stations (i.e. Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region) on Monday, 21st December 2009, as from 8:00a.m. through 8:00p.m. The meeting shall be valid irrespective of the number of attendees; and decisions shall be made by a majority of present members.
